Working as Producer and Production Coordinator, and with creative input from Scriptwriter John Daniel Farrugia, Lead Animator Beatrice Pacheco, and Voiceover Artist Jenna Green, we embarked on a methodical process. We began with a comprehensive pitch, script, moodboard, and defined a vibrant colour palette. From storyboarding to animatics, utilizing Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects, we masterfully navigated the delicate balance between the literal and non-literal, infusing science and chess with a human touch. The result? A seamless narrative journey with fluid scene transitions, effectively encapsulating the essence of our vision.
